lyrics
Rural destruction comes
Laying waste the countryside
Asseveration made
Kindling the want for thrill
Tedium forsworn
Vikinglike this pillaging
On barren lands
Purging; this shall be done
Dairy cows and waterfowl are falling at my feet
Oh farmstead, so tempting
Approaching soon
Trembling beasts awaiting
Your family’s doom
Butchery! All creatures slain
Blood’s stench ascends
Rousing savor for death
Presently quenched
Bloody tracks will point the way
An ungodly mess
Fearful prey bides
Oh farmstead, oh reaper
’Tis what you’ve sown
Now witness your daughters
Become my own
As you succumb
Set alight the patriarch
And his soiled seed
His acreage burns
Our work is done
Ravaging the dell

This album is raw emotion from start to finish. The guitar work is great, but I think this album really shines in its vocals. You can hear the emotional anguish in his voice, highly recommended. -Jake Astringency
This album is amazing, evil-sounding death metal. The production is raw, but never at the expense of the music. The lead guitar work is especially memorable. -Cameron Astringency
This album is an awesome callback to 90's symphonic black metal, and the production offers a modern take on classic sounds, like Emperor and Dissection. A must listen for fans of the genre! -Aaron Astringency

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024
