lyrics
In relentless pursuit of you
I follow
Your screams magnetic attract
Closing our distance
Tempting, you beckon
Inviting this forceful union
On this amorous nocturne
My dreams and your worst nightmare
Become one reality
Your garments quickly torn
My night of romance is born
I enter violently
Into where I can’t return
Blood’s noxious fumes
Taint the love in the air
Crimson droplets divulge this secret:
I’ve taken more than your peace of mind
Fresh claret steams
And nether fluids interweave
I’m torn; your tears so precious
Stir up compunction and aphrodisia
In my vacant recesses
I could almost feel something
But alas, my harlot
My search has failed once again
Just another worthless tramp
You really weren’t that great
Writhing unerotically
Screams just above a sigh
I divorce you quick and not so painlessly
Again a bridegroom for just one day
For in the eyes of our maker
A polygamist am I
Sodomize, brutalize, traumatize
Ruin lives
Oh such temporary wives
You are not alone, join them now
Your body, my spirit dead
Like this lifeless soiled dove
My soul is gone

This album is raw emotion from start to finish. The guitar work is great, but I think this album really shines in its vocals. You can hear the emotional anguish in his voice, highly recommended. -Jake Astringency
This album is amazing, evil-sounding death metal. The production is raw, but never at the expense of the music. The lead guitar work is especially memorable. -Cameron Astringency
This album is an awesome callback to 90's symphonic black metal, and the production offers a modern take on classic sounds, like Emperor and Dissection. A must listen for fans of the genre! -Aaron Astringency
Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024
