lyrics
Fight ye now ye perilous heroes
Bear to battlefield honor and sword
Come ye now ye warriors of Oden
Come now claim your reward
Come now claim your reward
Join all, brethren tonight we will feast
When sun gleams in morn we shall stand
on battlegrounds
Heretic scorn advance to be slain
May arms glide swift that fate them to Hel
The clashing of steel, a wonderous song of echoes
Woes of brotherly deaths I will carry in heart that grants strength to the swing of my blade
(Raise thine sword) Should it be a sight which break our foes aghast
(Take their lives) Hearken to breath that thoust may discern their last
Steady are my hands
Honed is my skill
Battle to die and die to battle
Odes of her beauty, war, she is free
Conquering lands and ravaging seas
If this day be my final, perhaps I would see
That good lady war might smile upon me
The spilling of blood, an alluring painting for eyes to behold
Those who don the cross shall feel the merciless sting of pagan steel
The ground sets masked with bodies by masses
Lain trampled ‘neath forces of followers to a false god
Thor's will runs course as lightning in veins
As I charge forth with haste to face my demise
(Heresy) The gods have forged the path I trod
(Blasphemy) Norse knees shant be bent to the bastard god
Steady are my hands
honed is my skill
battle to die and die to battle
Odes of her beauty, war, she is free
Conquering lands and ravaging seas
If this day be my final, perhaps I would see
That good lady war might smile upon me
Enemies besiege, ‘twas my skill to attract
I shall stand grim on dealt wretched attack
Blood lust is quenched and sight dims to black
Before I cross realms, to her, I will smile back
Cries throughout Midgard, would ye sing of my praise
Whilst body is drawn and put to the flame
As ash grasps with wind and dances in plains
Remember my name, remember my name
[Aaron Solo]
(Valhalla) That I would feast and battle once again
(Glorious) Shall be my death as I will see my end

Lyrics and Music: Austin Price
This album is raw emotion from start to finish. The guitar work is great, but I think this album really shines in its vocals. You can hear the emotional anguish in his voice, highly recommended. -Jake Astringency
This album is amazing, evil-sounding death metal. The production is raw, but never at the expense of the music. The lead guitar work is especially memorable. -Cameron Astringency
This album is an awesome callback to 90's symphonic black metal, and the production offers a modern take on classic sounds, like Emperor and Dissection. A must listen for fans of the genre! -Aaron Astringency

i checked out bands coming to my town, and xoth were on the list. at first i thought they were cheesy since i only liked metal to be deep, dark, and atmospheric .
i did enjoy the technical complexity, so i gave them another chance. i equated shredding with jockishness (ugh), but i now see it as a creative choice. i just had to approach it on my own terms, and xoth was the perfect gateway for this. they really opened up a new world for me. quasiotter

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
Channeling philosophical quandaries into cavernous death metal, the Australian trio turn modern power struggles into an aural advantage. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 13, 2022
